Ever hear someone say I wish I could have the innocence of a child again? Well you can by using meditation!

    You will experience a blissful feeling of relaxation that will over time last you through your daily life.
    
By being relaxed and at peace you will be able to over come obstacles that may have normally thrown your day into the proverbial trash can. This relaxation will also help you see the world around you with the "innocence of a child's eyes" noticing the vibrant colors, the fragrant smells, and the warmth of the world around you. Your personal and professional relationships can take on a whole new dimension and, you may find your soul mate or take the leap to the your dream career. The possibilities are endless.

    Here are a few steps I like to take when beginning my meditations.

  • Breathing: start with a simple steady breath concentrating on you inhale and exhale this will help set the rhythm for your meditation
       
  • Quiet place: Find a secluded quiet space free of any interruptions this can be difficult if you have a family or live in a busy area. In time though you will be able to control your meditation to the point of being able to block out any distractions.


  • Comfort: Comfort is a must you do not want to be bothered by a nagging pain or clothing that is binding


  • Clear mind: as you progress in your guided meditations you will learn to clear your mind of the stray thoughts that fill your head and concentrate on a single focal point or thought.


  • Journal it: after meditation make a journal entry to describe how you feel or something you have noticed about your meditation this can help with future meditations.


  • Have fun: Meditation can be a deeply spiritual process but its core benefit is to relax the mind and body and help center your energy so it is only natural to have fun while conducting your meditation. 



Now that you have some basics in hand to start your journey, dive in and feel the relief meditation can bring.
