Hugo Michael Maucher
My history:
From an early age, I would watch my grandmother in her kitchen, preparing dishes such as homemade gnocchi, Italian wedding soup, ravioli, polenta and other Italian delights. I quickly developed a "taste" for the kitchen and the preparation of food. It is certainly no coincidence that my specialties would become Italian-American cuisine and mushroom dishes. When time came to choose a college it was not a stretch that I chose the #1 culinary school in the world "Johnson and WalesUniversity"
Since graduating form J&W I have gone on to develop an expert skill level in culinary arts and have worked in many facets of the food service business ranging from restaurateur, corporate accounts, food television and also authoring a published cook book. I feel every day should be an opportunity to learn and “taste” something new.
